Cellovision

Three days of music, connection, and cellobration.

East Nashville  ·  Free Admission
Not a showcase. Not a competition.
Just people, artists and audiences together, in a space that truly holds them.

Where it began.

Cellotree Arts started with one mission: to give artists and audiences a place to gather, to feel safe, seen, and free to just be themselves. Nashville is a city that never slows down, and I wanted to create a retreat from all of that. A space where people could show up without the pressure of the hustle, where music was about connection rather than competition.

Now in its fourth year, Cellovision is our biggest, most beloved gathering, a true cellobration that encompasses everything Cellotree Arts stands for. It's a nurturing space where people meet, play, and support each other. Exploring your talents feels natural here because the room is genuinely, radically welcoming. Artists feel valued. Audiences feel like participants, not spectators. And something real happens here every single time.

It's unlike anything else I've seen. And we're just getting started.

This year, we're dreaming bigger.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to sustain and grow what we've built together.

Together, we're building a sustainable home for artists and community.

Everyone belongs here.

Cellovision draws together independent artists, songwriters, performers, and the people who love music. Whether you've played stages for decades or you're just beginning to find your voice, you belong here. This is not a venue. It's a living room that gets a little bigger, and a little more beautiful, every year.

What keeps people coming back isn't the lineup. It's the feeling. The sense that you can show up as you are, be witnessed, and leave feeling more like yourself than when you arrived.

Help Keep Cellovision Free and Build a Sustainable Home for Artists and Community

For four years, Cellovision has welcomed over 100 artists each September in a spirit of creativity, belonging, and mutual support. Together, we're growing a future where artists are honored, community is nurtured, and music remains accessible to all.

Music communities don't sustain themselves. They're built by the people who show up, by the hosts who stay up late, by the supporters who believe something is worth protecting. If Cellovision has touched your life, inspired you, or simply feels like something you want to see flourish, we invite you to help carry it forward. Become a participant in sustaining something beautiful.

Our vision is simple: free admission for everyone. Every performer receives an honorarium. The event supports itself sustainably. And Cellotree Arts can continue offering concerts and gatherings throughout the year.

Cellovision exists because of countless hours of planning, hosting, and care. Our long-term vision is to build a model that supports not only the festival and its artists, but also the people and place that make this gathering possible. We believe in naming that honestly, because it's honorable, and because it's true.

Real money.
Real impact.

Cellotree Arts is a grassroots, artist-first operation. There are no corporate budgets here. Every dollar that comes in goes directly toward sustaining the work, lifting up the people doing it, and making sure the shows keep happening.

01

Paying Artists Fairly

Independent artists pour everything into their craft and rarely get paid what they are worth. A core commitment of Cellotree Arts is that every performer gets paid. Not exposure. Not a tip jar. A real honorarium that respects their time, their talent, and their work. Your support makes that possible for over 100 artists every year.

02

Hospitality and Care

Cellovision is three full days of hosting: feeding people, welcoming artists, creating a space that feels genuinely warm and cared for. The hospitality behind the scenes is a huge part of what makes this gathering feel the way it does, and it takes real resources to do it well.

03

Sustaining the Space and the People

Keeping Cellotree Arts running takes more than passion. The space, the infrastructure, the planning, and the people who pour countless hours into making this happen all need support. Operating support is the least glamorous line item, but without it none of the rest is possible.

04

Year-Round Community

Cellovision is the centerpiece, but Cellotree Arts hosts concerts, songwriter rounds, and community gatherings all year long. Your support helps sustain that work beyond September, so this community has a home in every season.

05

You Become Part of the Family

Beyond the logistics, supporting Cellovision means something. You become a name this community associates with showing up, a genuine part of something being built with care. The people in this room remember who had their back.

"Every show we produce is a bet on independent artists. Your support is what makes that bet possible."
